For this series of four artists books, each invited participant was given a simple prompt—to reflect on the readings, images, and ideas informing their current practice. Each artist’s contribution was printed as an individual book, and presented in an unbound folder-style book with the other participants. Celia Lesh’s title piece, Open Enough to Look Into, wraps the cover of the book and summarizes the project’s intent: to provide a brief glimpse into the research and ideas that comprise a total practice.
